We J. E. Bullington and wife Mat Bullington for the consideration of the sum of Thirteen hundred and fifty dollars, $250.00 in hand and two notes one for eight hundred dollars due the 15 day of Oct next one note for three hundred dollars due 15 day of Dec. 1910 the receipt their for is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto James Cobble all the right title and interest we have in and to a certain tract of land in Dist No. 4 of Greene Co. Tennessee adjoining lands of James Cupp, J.R. Hoard and others bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake corner to Hoard S 49 W 44 poles to a stake formaly a dogwood Hoard's corner S 32 W 1 pole and 18 link to a stake C.H. Ray's corner N 64 W 7 poles and 11 links to a stake formaly 2 white oak Ray's corner N 88 W 24 poles to pointers N 4 E 34 to white oak stump corner to Jackson S 88 E 17 poles to a cluster of saplings Sally Jackson's with her line N2 E 43 poles to a stake corner continued 54 poles to a stake in Knoxville road with road S 55 E 60 poles to a stake corner of School house lot with Knoxville Road S 53 1/2 E 22 1/4 poles to a stake S 15 W 68 1/3 poles to a stake on Hoard's line with the same N 66 W 17 1/4 poles to the beginning containing 48 acres more or less.
To have and to hold unto the said James Cobble his heirs or assigns forever we covenant with him that we are lawfully seized of said land, have a good right to convey the same and that said land is free from any incumberance and we do furthermore agree and bind our heirs and representatives to warrant and defend thetitle to the said described land to the said James Cobble against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

Personally appeared before me, J.A. Hall a Notary Public State and County aforesaid, J.E. Bullington and wife Mat Bullington the within named bargainers with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that they executed the within instrument for the purposes therein contained. And Mat Bullington wife of the said J.E. Bullinton having appeared before me, privately and apart from the said husband the said Mat Bullington acknowledged the execution of the said deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and understandingly without compulsion or constraint from her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed.
