For and in consideration of the remainder of the tract of land conveyed to us, at this date, known as the Harvey Moore tract, located in district no. 6 of Greene Co. Tenn.

We E.F. McPherson and wife Mary E. McPheron hereby, transfer, convey allot or partition to Andrew Guthrie and wife Sarah Guthrie co-owners with us, the following part of the said tract described as follows:

Beginning on a stake near a small Elm and Post Oak on a ridge - North 46 1/2 W 98 poles to a Gum on Dunwoody's line - South 79 E 11 poles to a pine - N 49 E 88 poles to pine and Hickory South 99 poles to Stand Dogwood East 22 poles to a pine and Dogwood & Hickory - South 11 E 92 to stake on Harmon's line - with same West 95 1/2 poles to stake 2 poles south of a marked walnut - north 42 poles to a stake - north 65 East 64 poles to the beginning said to contain by surface measurement fifty-eight acres - the right of rirgress and egress is retained for the owners of land retained by us over the lands herein conveyed to the point where Lewis McPherons corners and Harmon's line - said out let located where it best suits all parties concerned.

This we convey cir fee simple and warrant and defend this title or deed against all legal claimants whosoever and the lands sold, from the land herein conveyed by the said Andrew Guthrie to Messrs. Evans, Ramsey & McPheron - formerly - are hereby confirmed.

Personally appeared before me, J.D. Tucker, a Notary Public for said County, E.H. McPheron and Mary E. McPheron the within named bargainers with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that they executed the within instrument for the purposes therein contained.
And Mary E. McPheron, wife of the said E.H. McPheron, having appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband, the said Mary E. McPheron acknowledged the execution of the within instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint from her said husband, and for the purposes therein expressed.
