Jacob wrote his Will February 8, 1843 and it was probated in Greene County, Tennessee January 1, 1844.

The Will mentioned his wife Catherine giving her the land, house and 1/2 garden.

Sons: Jacob Harmon Jr. and John Harmon.

The Will stated that Jacob owned 540 acres of land located on both sides of Lick Creek and that his sons Jacob Jr. and John were to have the land.

Daughters: Polly Cutshall, Betsey Bible, Eve Trobaugh, Catherine Laughner, and Sally Harmon, granddaughter: Catherine Trobough, daughter of William and Eve; Sons to pay daughters at Catherine’s death, $1000.00 each.
