Know all men by these presents that I, Susanna R. Speegle, of Speegleville, McLennan Co., TX, surviving wife of Israel Washington Speegle, dec’d, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last and only will and testament and as to all my estate, real, personal and mised, of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled, I will, devise, bequeath and dispose thereof as follows —

1st — I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient.

2nd — I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Avy Adeline Wyatt, the following described portion of my home place, a part of the Nixon and St. Clair Surveys situated in McLennan Co, TX, to be run as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of a Tract of land deeded by my deceased husband, Israel W. Speegle, to my said daughter, Avy Adeline Wyatt; Thence West crossing the branch to the public road; Thence running in the middle of the road Westerly to a corner to be made North of the corner of the old hedge; Thence South to said corner of hedge; Thence South on the West side of said hedge to the middle of a Survey deeded to said Israel W. Speegle, dec’d by Richard Halstead; Thence South to West to the West line of said Survey; Thence N60E to the NW corner of the G. Nixon survey; Thence on the N line of said Nixon to a corner made by said Israel W. Speegle dec’d - for A. Wyatt; Thence S 30 E to the place of beginning, together with all and singular the rights, members, hereditaments, and appurtenances to the same in any wise belonging forever in fee simple.

3rd — I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Tery Angeline Wagner, the following described portion of my home place, situate in McLennan Co., TX. Beginning at the NW corner of a Tract of land deeded by said Israel W. Speegle, dec’s to said Tery A. Wagner which is also the SE corner of the St.Clair Survey; Thence S60W on the South line of the said St. Clair to the South West corner of a Survey deeded to said Israel S. Speegle, dec’d by Rich Holstead; Thence N 30 W to the middle of said Tract to a corner to be made for this Survey - and also for the SW corner of a Tract willed by me herein to Avy A. Wyatt; Thence N60E to a corner for this and the A. Wyatt Tracts on the Eset side of the hedge; Thence South on the West side of said hedge to the SW corner of the same hedge; Thence E on South side of the hedge to the place of beginning. Together with all and singular the rights, members, hereitaments and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging forever in fee simple. I also give to her the Conger house with all the land now owned by me ouside of my fence lying around the house

4th — I give, devise and bequeath to my son Phillip Speegle all the remainder of my home place, including my dwelling house and farm and auhorises and its appurtenances. Together with all and singular the rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging forever in fee simple.

5th — All the personal property of which I shall die in possession of or entitled to at my decease, I give to my three grandchildren: Mary Jones, Belle Halstead and George Henry Speegle to be divided in two equal parts - Mary to have one half and George and Belle the other half equally divided between them

6th — I nominate and appoint my son Phillip Speegle and my sons-in-law John C. Wyatt and John A. Wagner, to be the Executors of this will and that no security be required of them as such Executors. I also direct that no other action shall be had in the probate court in the administration of my estate than to probate and record this will and return of an inventory appraisement and list of claims of my estate and I authorize my said executors to sell enough of my personal estate for the purpose of paying my just debts, except I do no desire them to sell that portion of my estate herein specifically devised if I have other property they can sell. In testimony whereof, I the said Susanna R. Speegle have hereunto set my hand in presence of the below subscring witnesses, this 9th day of Sept 1885.
