I, Philip Bible, of Green County, State of Tennessee, make and acclaim this my last Will and Testament in manner and form Following, I have kept a record of every article that each heir has received of my property and at my death. I wish two Disinterested Persons to be chosen by my Executors to Value my surplus property, exclusive of my land, and give to each heir so much of said property as will Set him or her up with the heir that has had the most of my property on record as I have before stated. My Son Jacob Bible is to have all my lands and he, the said Jacob Bible, shall take good care of my wife, Margaret Bible, and daughter, Sarah Bible, and shall support them decently during their lifetime and they are to occupy the dwelling they now occupy, and I wish one good saddlehorse set apart for their use during my wife's life and in case my daughter, Sarah should marry then the said Jacob Bible shall be released from her support _ and further if there should not be enough Surplus property to set each equal, the lack must be taken from the proceeds of the land at the time the property ???? and the settlement made by the disinterested person that are to be chosen by the Executors. If there should be more stock and household furniture than will set each heir even, the remainder of the surplus property shall then be equally divided between all the heirs.

For my lands, my son Jacob Bible shall pay to the balance of the heirs the sum of fifteen hundred dollars. Out of that sum he shall pay each heir ten dollars in current Bank Bills, the balance in cattle and horses or any good trade that parties can agree on and the said Jacob Bible shall have nine years from my death to pay the above amount by paying to each heir his proportionable part of the trade annually.
