Mae Dugger Baxter, 79, of Route 14, Greeneville, died Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a housewife and a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter: Coriece Baxter of the homes; two sons: Harold D. Baxter of Lewisburg, Tenn., and John D. Baxter of Greene County; two grand children: Dean Balding Baxter and Mary Rene Baxter of Lewisburg; a brother: Jim Dugger of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence V. Baxter, in August, 1976; an infant son, Larry Baxter; a grandson, Harold Baxter Jr.; a brother, Marion Dugger, and two sisters, Mrs. Pat Brown and Cora Dugger.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kiser Funeral Chapel with interment in New Bethel Cemetery. The Rev. Rex Brown and the Rev. Jim McGuire will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Grover Johnson, Jackie Nease, Charlie Garant, Jewell Britton, James F. Gregory, John O. Hardin and Joe and Glennon Brown.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at Kiser Funeral Home.
