CONVERSE, SC-- Jeanette Greene, of 141 High Street, died Monday, May 31, 2004, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Smith and Melissa Mae Bolton Bible. She was a homemaker and a member of Converse Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edgar Leroy Greene of the home; four daughters, Phyllis Steadman and Cathy Wofford, both of Cannons, Tammy Collins of Campobello, and Marie Brown of Moore; four sons, Donald Greene of Cowpens, David Greene of Moore, the Rev. James Greene of West Virginia, and Edgar Greene, Jr. of Converse; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held.

The family is at the home.
