BIBLE, EDITH MILLER - age 78 from Kodak, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Jefferson County Nursing Home. The greatest lady we had the privilege to call our mother. Our Angel who God has called home. She is loved and she will be very missed.

She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sally and Landon Miller; brother, JC Miller; and her infant son, Daniel Bible.

Survived by: her children, Jean Overton and husband Ronald, Samuel Bible and wife Myrtle from Kodak, Jerry Bible from Blaine, Paul Bible from Strawberry Plains, Charles Bible from Mascot, Bobby Bible from Kodak, Conley Bible and Ronnie Bible from Newport, Gerald Bible and wife Louise from Maynardville, Lesa Wilson and husband Ernie from Fla., Teresa Miles and husband Edward from Maryville, sister; Gladys Lamb from Morristown; brothers Lewis from Jefferson City, Buddy and Marshall from Indiana; several grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 1, 2004 in Grainger Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Thursday at Smith Funeral Home. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge.
