Ruby G. Rollins

Ruby G. Rollins, 78, of Hartford, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 25, 2004, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in Knoxville. She was a homemaker and member of Raven's Branch Church of Christ.

Her husband, Belvin B. Rollins; daughters, Opal Ellison and Bernice Rollins; and parents, George and Lillie (Messer) Price, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons: Elbert Rollins and his wife, Minnie, of Hartford; J.B. Rollins and his wife, Carol, of Lincoln Park, Mich.; Lewis Rollins and his wife, Isabell, of Taylor, Mich.; Ted Rollins and his wife, Brenda, of Monroe, Mich.; and Terry Rollins, of Grassy Fork; daughters: Artha Moody and her husband, James, of Hartford; Reba (Rollins) Green, of Thomasville, N.C.; Wanda Seals and her husband, Ron, of Sevierville, TN; and Alma Green and her husband, Kenneth, of Newport; brothers, Troy Messer and his wife, Mattie, of Waynesville, N.C., and Harold Manes, of Del Rio; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rollins will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 30, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at Ravens Branch Church of Christ with Bro. Olie Williamson officiating.

Interment will follow at Rollins Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 28, 2004, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will also receive friends Thursday, January 29, 2004, at the residence at 4133 Big Creek Rd., Hartford, TN.

Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Ruby G. Rollins.
