E. Ruth Bible
E. Ruth Bible, 86, 303 E. Barner St., died Aug. 15, 2003, in her home.
Mrs. Bible lived in the Michigantown and Frankfort areas all her life and attended Frankfort High School. She had worked for the former Spencer's 10-Cent Store and co-owned and operated the E.W. Bible Photography Studio several years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Women of the Moose and Good Times Camping Club. She and her husband had been secretaries for the former McEwen Bowling League more than 25 years.
She was born April 25, 1917, in Michigantown to Milroy and Maidie June Huffer Brammell. She married Everett W. Bible on Dec. 25, 1938 and he died April 7, 1989.
Surviving are four sisters, Dorothy Hodgen, Thelma Moon and Mrs. Bill (Janet) Culross of Frankfort and Betty Graham of Danville; two brothers, Paul Brammell of Michigan City and Robert (Linda) Brammell of Frankfort.
Three brothers, Reuben, Donald and Harold Brammell, preceded her in death.
Calling will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Goodwin Funeral Home with the service at 6 p.m., officiated by Pastor Ed Eby. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown.
Memorials may be made to her church with envelopes at the funeral home.
