Geneva R. [Bible] Kirk Crosby

Geneva R. Kirk Crosby, 74, of McDonald Road, Midway, formerly of Hillcrest Drive, Morristown, died Saturday morning (August 8, 2003) at her home.She was a retired employee of NCR in Morristown.
Mrs. Crosby was a member of Concord Baptist Church, the McDonald Family and Community Education club, the Lunch Bunch, and the Bethany Sunday School Class of the church.
She was the widow of Arnold W. Kirk and Ray Harry Crosby.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Don and Leah Kirk of Montevallo, Ala.; two daughters and one son-in-law: Carol and Randy Dick of Dale City, Va., and Pamela Elkins of Morristown; nine grandchildren: Jeff Kirk, Shae Kirk, Stephanie DeFrank, Chris Dick, Jeremy Dick, MaDonna Synnott, David Elkins, Adam Patterson, and Loryn Patterson; seven great-grandchildren; one brother: Ray Jirrell Bible of Morristown; three sisters: Grace McNew of Mosheim, Irene Jackson of Roseboro, N.C., and Patsy McLamb of Dunn, N.C.; and a number of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and cousins.
She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Dora Rader Bible, and was preceded in death by two brothers: Lee Roy Bible and Gene Harold Bible.
The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service was held at 10 o’clock this morning at Concord Baptist Church with interment in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The Rev. Donnie Bible and the Rev. Larry Jones will officiate.
The body was taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
