PILGRIM COLLEGE MUSIC INSTRUCTOR DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Ella Belle Bible, 74, a music teacher on the faculty at Pilgrim College, died Thursday morning at the Clinton County hospital of complications after an illness of 10 weeks. She resided at 1102 West Jefferson Street.
Mrs. Bible taught music for three years at the local college. She was active in church work and the W.S.C.S. She was a member of the Fickle Methodist Church. She was born in Gibson County on January 13, 1878, to Alex B. and Eliza Robison Atkins and in 1909 was married to John Bible who survives.
Others surviving include three sons, Amadeus Bible, San Diego, Calif.; John L. Bible, Houston, Texas; Enoch A. Bible, Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Shaff, Frankfort; Mrs. Ruth Hengst, Thorntown; and a sister, Linnie A. Kirk, Muldrow, Okla.
Services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur F. Grobe officiating. Interment in Rossville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:o'clock tonight.
