William Clark

Marble Falls Messenger - March 29, 1956

William Andrew Clark was born in Tennessee, Aug. 25, 1870. He came to Texas at the age of three and lived in Burnet County for 82 years. He passed away in Burnet March 22, 1956 at the age of 85 years, six months, and 27 days. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by three sons, Orville Clark of Port au Prince, Haiti; Grady and Curtis Clark of Marble Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Claudia Gardner of Emporia, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Proffitt of Austin, and Mrs. May Linebarger of Leander.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Robert, Angus, Ralph, John Milburn and James Clark and Dudley Phinney.
