Margaret Clyde Bible LaFollette

A lifelong resident of Greene County, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Alice Burton Cruey Bible.
Mrs. LaFollette was a member and an elder of Amity United Presbyterian Church, where the family said she professed her faith in Christ at the age of 16.
She was the widow of Clyde L. LaFollette.
Survivors include her daughter: Joyce LaFollette Duncan, and her granddaughter: Jordan Nicole Stierle, both of Johnson City; five sisters-in-law: Gladys Lowe Bible, Vivian Smith Bible Greenlee, Viola LaFollette, Sallie Bowers, and Glenzoa LaFollette; a foster sister: Anna Mae Cruey Baker of Luttrell; two special nieces: Jermaine Bible Reese and Maxine Bible Elkins; two special nephews: Ralph Bible and A.J. Bible; several great-nieces and great-nephews, including a special great-nephew: Charles Reese; several cousins; and a number of friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister; and two brothers: Luther Bible and Luke Bible.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening at Kiser Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. John Mitchell, pastor, will officiate.
Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 4:15 Tuesday afternoon to go in procession to Greene Lawn Memory Gardens for a graveside service at 5 o'clock.
