Mrs. Minnie Ola Bible
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Ola Bible were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bible, a resident of Canyon since 1933, died at 2 o'clock Wednesday morning in an Amarillo Hospital.
Rev. Pettit, minister of the Assembly of God church, officiated at the funeral service. Burial was in Dreamland Cemetery under the direction of Griggs-Warren Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bible was born in the old Indian territory of Oklahoma. At the time of her death she was 58 years old. The Bible farm home is located approximately seven miles southwest of Canyon.
During the two weeks preceding her death, Mrs. Bible had been critically ill.
She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Jim Bible; two sons, Billy and James of Canyon; four brothers, Rufus J. Cummins, Phoenix, Ariz., E.L. Cummins, Lake Arthur, NM., J.M. Cummins, Hollis, Okla., and Y.D. Cummins, also of Hollis, Okla.
Pall beareres were Earl Burtz, Albert Meter, C.S. Davenport, S. O. O'Donald, J.W. Spencer, and H.M. Abbott.
