Dorothy Christine Bible (Grandma B), age 66, of Liberty Hill, formerly of Leander, died Monday, April 9, 2001, in a truck accident while at work in Horseshoe Bay. She was born on June 6, 1934, in Eastland County, Texas, to Annie Cowan and Archie Baird.

Dorothy, a lifelong lady truck driver, presently employed with Salado Quarry, Salado, Texas, formerly drove for J. B. Hunt and numerous gravel companies in the Austin area.

Mrs. Bible was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vada Ehrhardt.

She is survived by husband, James Roy Bible of Liberty Hill, Texas; daughters Tamara Bible Eilers and husband, Clyde A. Eilers of Elgin, Texas; sons Mark E. Bible and wife, Linda J. Bible, of Liberty Hill, Texas and Kim E. Bible and wife , Karrie E. Bible, of Liberty Hill, Texas; grandsons, Nakota S. Bible, Chris A. Baker and Chad R. Baker, of Liberty Hill, Texas, Kevin S. Barnes, of Bastrop, Texas; granddaughters, Sheena C. Bible of Liberty Hill, Texas and Casidy A. Barnes of Bastrop, Texas; sisters Thelma Cantrell of Liberty Hill, Texas, Blanche Fortenberry of Lubbock, Texas and Billie Jean Hammer of Rising Star Texas; along with many other family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at The Gabriels.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Liberty Hill with the Reverend L. T. 'Tom' McCollister officiating. Burial will be at Bagdad Cemetery, Leander, Texas.
