MIDWAY — Emory Woodrow Bible, 82, Little Warrensburg Road, died Wednesday evening (Aug. 11, 1999) at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Alice Irene (Rader) Bible; one daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Jimmy Carmack, Kingsport; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Michael Bible and wife, Karen Bible, Bristol, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Lisa Kautzky, David Carmack and Scott Carmack, all of Kingsport, Hannah Bible and Jesse Bible, both of Bristol; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Joel D. Bible; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ruth and Hoover Stroud, all of the Bibles Chapel community, Midway; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bernie Cagle and the Rev. Donnie Bible officiating.

Burial will be at Greene Lawn Memory Gardens.
