Ethel Bible:

The funeral for Ethel Mae Bible of Franklin will be held at 2 p.m. at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial will be in the Bluegrass (VA) Cemetery. Mrs. Bible died 11 Nov 1988 at Staunton, Va. She was born 28 May 1905 in Highland County, Va and was a daughter of the late Sullie and Florence Fleisher Beverage. She was a member of the Harpers Chapel United Methodist Church. On 14 Dec 1922 she married George W. Bible, who died 30 July 1971. Surviving are six daughters, Nola Williams of Fairfax, Va, Phyllis Brady of Front Royal, Va., Virginia Butler of Bristow, Va., Ruby Munch of St. Augustine, Fla., Cornelia Nelson of Franklin and Joy Swisher of Staunton; a sister Eva Harper of Staunton.
