Frances Samuel, Sarah Townsend Bible, Enoch, Daniel Philip, Elbert Eliub, Back: Josiah L., Amos Emmitt, John Jacob

Irvin, Francis, Bertha: Francis Samuel, son of Enoch and Sarah Bible married Hannah Henrietta Winkler in 1888 in Clinton Co., IN. They moved to Nebraska where Irvin and Bertha were born (1891 & 1895). Henrietta died when Bertha was born.

Francis S. and Anna Bible: Anna was the third wife of Francis. They were married 11 October 1913. Anna was from England. They lived in Nebraska but must have returned to Indiana, because Francis died in 1941 in Lebanon, Indiana.

Bert and Jane Bible: Elbert Eliub married Jane Gochenour in 1888 in Clinton Co., IN. They moved to Arkansas and first child was born in 1890 in Arkansas.

Daniel and Amelia Bible: Daniel Philip was born in 1871. He and Amelia were married in 1896, but she died in 1901. After her death, Daniel married Hattie. He died in 1910 in Texas.

John J. and Ella B. Bible
This photo was probably taken soon after their marriage on March 29, 1909. Ella Belle was a concert pianist and John was her manager. When they presented a concert, John would sing during the intermissions. They fell in love and married. Later she taught piano privately and also for the Frankfort Pilgrim College in Frankfort, Indiana. They are my grandparents.

This was considered their wedding photograph. They were married September 4, 1937 and went to Cleveland, Ohio for their honeymoon. They saw Sonja Henie on ice.

Jan and Ora Lee Parcell
This is my husband and I when we attended my retirement party in June 1999. I taught elementary school for 37 years. Jan was a news radio journalist and retired in March 2002. *
